Wage and Benefit Analysis
-
Because our firm represents so many different employers in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area, we are exceptionally well equipped to review the wages and benefits that our clients provide to their employees. We know the area standards and what has been agreed to elsewhere. We have negotiated many of the collective bargaining agreements in this area, and we have advised over one hundred non-union clients regarding wage and benefit averages. The advice we provide in these areas is based on a number of factors, including union status, area competition, other collective bargaining agreements, availability of qualified employees, marketing area demographics, and competition for skilled and unskilled full and part-time help among all area employers.
We also assist clients to review and evaluate their health insurance carriers and/or plans, workers compensation insurance, 401(k), pension, SEP, profit sharing, or other deferred earning plans. We provide labor cost projections for our clients to use in connection with their attempts to obtain financing through banks or other loan or leasing institutions. We also provide projected cost analysis to employers when renegotiating or reestablishing wage rates.
