Scott P. Moberg, SPHR

Scott is a Labor Relations Specialist with over 20 years of experience.  He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from La Roche College and Masters Degree in Industrial Relations from Saint Francis University.  Scott obtained the certification of Senior Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association and the Society of Human Resource Professional Consulting Forum.
Scott's talents and accomplishments include:
  • Chief spokesperson and strategic planner in hundreds of successful contract negotiations with unions including the United Food and Commercial Workers, the United Steelworkers, the Laborers Union, the Pennsylvania State Education Association and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters for retail, service, manufacturing, construction and trucking businesses.
  • Represented employer’s interests in grievance meetings, facilitating thousands of satisfactory grievance settlements.
  • Developed wage compensation and benefit programs in union and non-union environments that addressed the financial concerns of the employer and the need to provide incentives to the employees.
  • Successfully represented companies in hundreds of EEOC and PHRC discrimination claims as well as OSHA Investigations and Federal and State Wage & Hour Investigations.
  • Developed and administered employment policies and procedures for companies of all sizes. Administration included documenting, communicating and representational services throughout an employee’s progressive discipline.
