Grievance Adminstration and Representation

Our consultants review and respond to all grievances filed against the employer by bargaining unit employees and/or their representatives. Not only do we advise the employer regarding the validity of the grievance, we also construct the company’s position and submit responses to the grievant and the union.  We send all correspondence to the appropriate union representative, with copies to the client, and we maintain a reference file in each case.

Our consultants attend all grievance meetings and employee counseling sessions, and we promulgate the employer’s arguments throughout the process. As a result of our experience in Industrial Relations, we are familiar with union tactics, procedures, and positions utilized throughout the grievance process, which can assist management in the resolution and disposition of the matter.
